Model: Required. (Note: Students must bring their own model, model assistance may be available with at least two weeks’ notice. Hair should be type 4a–4c, chin to mid-back length.)

Achieve sleek, smooth, and healthy silk presses that last. In this hands-on class, Jazmen will guide stylists through every step of the silk press process—from scalp prep to finishing polish—while emphasizing the importance of maintaining hair health and integrity.

In this session, you’ll:

Master a repeatable system for achieving long-lasting, movement-filled silk presses.

Learn how to properly cleanse, prep, and blow-dry to create a healthy foundation.

Understand product layering, heat control, and how to select the right tools for every texture.

Practice tension blow-drying, sectioning, and flat iron techniques to ensure consistent, silky results.

Explore methods to extend the longevity of your press through humidity-proofing and aftercare education.

Gain confidence working with all textures while protecting the hair’s natural strength and shine.

You’ll leave this class with the confidence, control, and technical knowledge to deliver silk press services that are polished, professional, and healthy from root to tip.
