Class Description

Every successful extension transformation starts with the right plan. Learn how to confidently consult guests, set realistic expectations, install tape-in and I-Link extensions, and determine the best approach when color correction is part of the service. This class focuses on creating beautiful, customized results while protecting the integrity of the hair

Three Teaching Points

1. Consult with Confidence

Learn how to conduct thorough extension consultations, set realistic expectations, discuss maintenance, and create a customized plan for every guest.

2. Install with Precision

Master the fundamentals of tape-in and I-Link extension installation, including placement, blending, and creating a seamless, natural finish.

3. Choose the Right Color Path

● Learn how to evaluate color correction needs before installing extensions.

● Determine when to color first, when extensions should come first, and how to build a safe, effective service plan.

Tools needed

  • Extension kit (Tape-In & I-Link)

  • Sectioning clips

  • Tail comb

  • Extension pliers (if applicable)

  • Practice mannequin or live model (if required)

  • Notebook and pen
